Yeah, but that still gives you a plate, a bowl, flatware, a napkin and a cup
to juggle. Unless the soup is at the very end of the line most people are
going to pass it up because it's too hard to have to find a place to set the
bowl down so you can add something else to your plate.

I'd save the soup for the smaller pot lucks and take something that can be
served on a plate with everything else for the bigger pot luck.
