A number of groceries/vegetable markets here in Chicago are selling
"sun dried tomatoes" that, from their packaging, seem to be locally
grown (or at least locally packaged). To my mind they demonstrate that
if you sun dry a flavorless tomato to get a sun dried flavorless
tomato.
