Yup... it's a RIVAL.
No dials, no On-Of Just plug it in.
I start with cold water and the grain.
For brown rice; 1c rice, 2+ c water
For barley 1/4 c barley, 1 c water
Takes about 3 hours..... but I'm in no hurrry.
