Dale, I cannot stop drinking two 2004s from Selbach-Oster. Both the
Kabinett and the Spatlese from Zeltinger-Schlossberg vineyard are
outstanding. Specially the Spatlese. I have not tasted any Auslese from S-O
in that vintage but I have marked in my TO-BUY list, a case of each.

That is remarkable, since 2004 was a very tough vintage in the eastern part
of the Loire. The secs I tasted at Huet seriously underwhelmed me. Such a
great difference between east and west Loire in that year.
