Healthy recipes post bypass operation?
When my late- ex-husband had his first surgery (6 grafts) at 34 (!!!)
I developed what came to be known as "Stir-Fry Ubiquitous".
It was the only way to fill up his lean, mean 6' 2" frame with only 4
ounces of meat a day. Meat was lean whatever and varied vegetables -
crunchy and colorful with as much steamed rice as he could hold. He
had a second surgery (3 more grafts) at 41 and was dead before 50 . .
.. ate well but wouldn't quit smoking.
His recovery from the first surgery was rapid. The second one was
tough due to a nasty infection at one of the veinous graft sites. We
were divorced several months before the second surgery.
Wishes and prayers for your success.

PS: Buy him a puppy - it'll make him walk.
