Maybe your side burner is a poor quality? I use mine all the tme. One
of my grills moves easily so it's kept in the garage. I wheel it just
outside the door and deep fry with it. It's also great for making
sauces while the meat is cooking. My favorite part is there is about
2% cleanup compared to doing this indoors.
