It is all right if you "munge" it, by using a dash instead of the "o".
No Orthodox Jew would ever say or write the word "G-d", not in
Hebrew and not in English or whatever language. Even in prayers, as
far as I know, there are other words used, instead. Help, someone,
Maxine, aren't you from an Orthodox background?
