Actually, no. I removed all but about a Tbs. of fat before I thickened the
gravy. Too late anyway, I've proceeded with the Tex-Mex theme, with a few
adjustments. I didn't use the chipotle pepper. I did decide on black beans
and some ground ancho pepper. It tastes pretty good!
