This opinion - albeit totally spurious and unfounded - made by one who
hails from the country which 'GAVE" the world McDonald's FR, KFC and
Burger King?
And we don't have to maraud and enslave our neighbours in order to
gather great foods and cooking styles, we actually encouage them to
emigrate and bring their culture with them.... and we readily embrace
all that world cuisine has to offer.
Ha!
Methinks SW is talking out of a nether orifice - probably the one
closest to his (sadly diminished) brain cell.
So, when were you in Australia? 1920s? 1930s? Obviously hasn't been in
the recent past - or maybe you just visited slum areas? (Yes, we do
have the odd slum, as with everywhere else on this great planet)
Our food service industry is second to none - and certainly hasn't
contributed greatly to world obesity trends.
