What will you be using it for? That extra inch shouldn't make that
much difference - It'll just make your stuff taller and thicker. .
..Oops, that didn't come out right!

But ummm what I meant to say, if it's for a cake or something. The
smaller 8" would just make it thicker. This response is just getting
worse as I go along. . .but you know what I mean;-)
