I finally found my one little cast iron skillet after it was missing in the
kitchen for a couple of years. It had a little patch of rust on the inside,
but I dry-roasted some spices in it. After I rinsed it out, the rust was gone.
It made some perfect cornbread yesterday and the bacon grease surely won't
hurt its seasoning. I think it was given to my parents as a wedding gift about
60 years ago. And, the cornbread didn't taste like curry. I looked for a name
on it, but it's unmarked.
