Thanks for all the replys. I guess I need a little more brown sugar, a
little less flour, and maybe 1 instead of 2 eggs. As for shortening
(partially hydrogenated....trans fat) I wouldn't use that at all.
Synthetics belong in the car not your body.

I'm going to give a couple of those recipes a try.
