Maybe it was arranged by someone stupid. My band got roped into playing at a
benefit for an animal shelter this weekend. Get this: 1/2 hour drive to get
there, set up for 1/2 hour, play for 1 hour. Then, the next band goes
through the same torment. Non-profit organizations (and entities which
pretend to be) are run by people who couldn't meet the quality standards to
be on church committees.
