If it is genetic, then your DNA relatives (as opposed to relatives by
marriage or adoption) should be more likely to think cilantro tastes
soapy too. Have you asked them? I'm curious.


I've heard that cilantro tastes soapy to some people but have never
thought so. I love it paired with lime in chicken soup or in salsa.
