Once I've tried something once, I tend to do it on the fly, myself.
I'm on a medication that robs me of much of my memory, though, so I've
been measuring and writing things down in MasterCook. Some things, I
can still cook on the fly. But not reliably. (

I'll keep your non-recipe in MasterCook so I can refer to it between
batches. If it's more than a few weeks, I'll need it.
