Our freezer is too small to put much ice in it, especially when it's
got lots of food in there... I cleared as much space as I could by
taking out the frozen cake and the Stouffers pot pies (the cake was
delicious but the pot pies had some kind of AWFUL fat in them and they
gave both of us killer indigestion) and cooking up some of the meat...
and I put containers of water into the space last night and this
morning.

When we eventually have a house of our own, the first appliance we'll
be putting into it is a chest freezer to supplement the one in the
fridge... alas there's not really any room for one in the apartment.
