Oy. I'm sorry.

The Fair Fare fared very well, thank you. Just got back from there ‹
after laying in a weekend supply of Abdallah's caramel apples (they're
closed for the holiday weekend starting tomorrow!) I did a tv thang ‹
and a more modest person than I would deny what a damn fine job I did,
too. :-) I've got a radio gig tomorrow sometime. Tammy McNiff arrives
in about an hour and I'm dragging her out there. She's grease-deprived,
I'm sure and it is my Minnesota Hostess duty to remedy that!

I had six blue ribbons and was named the Prestigious Processor of the
Pantry for the second time in the four years of its existence (the
Fair's top canning prize ‹ the grand fromage, if you would '-) )

Carol's on hiatus right now.
I'm glad you could be with your aunt and uncle; I'm sure it meant a lot
to them. Next year. . . .
