I make this a lot this time of year, because I've made a lot of my own apple
butter and don't feel too decadent using it up in bread.
Apple Butter Wheat Bread
1 1/2 POUND LOAF
1 cup water, plus 1 T of water
1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 T butter or margerine
1/4 cup apple butter
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
Place all ingredients in bread pan, select light crust setting, and press
start. After the baking cycle ends, remove bread from pan, place on cake
rack, and allow to cool 1 hour before slicing.
Note: This is a very soft bread when it first comes out of the pan, so
it's best to wait several hours before slicing it. From Bread Machine Magic
