I am totally confused. I have purchased 6 LP gas regulators and no two
act the same. I know, or think i do, that the pressure recommended for
a Gas Cooking Grill is 11" of Water Column. SO why does this industry
produce regulators that don't regulate at all? Several of these
regulators drop in output pressure as you turn on the burners. They go
from 8 or 9 inches to start, (none are set on 11) and then as you turn
on the burners they drop a couple of inches with each burner that you
turn on, until they are down to below 3 or 4. Can someone tell me what
is going on? I purchased the reulators from Ace Hardware stores. One
brand that i recall is MR Heater, two of the same regulators won't be
set on the same pressure. WHy is this?
