Heh!! Great story, Tammy. Reminds of the two, not one but two! times
I let a hard cooked egg on the stove run out of water, and came
running to a loud "pop" that indicated I needed to mop the ceiling.
In that house, the computer room was way in the back, and I didn't
have a portable timer -- once was actually funny, the second time was
just stoopid.
Of course now I know (thanks to Nancy) that you don't have to boil
an egg to hard cook it. AAMOF, an egg salad sandwich sounds like a
nice lunch...
