I have a 6 year old shar pei that has a number of health problems. I throw
chicken thighs into the crock pot with some water and cook them up. When they
are done cooking I shred the meat and put it back in the broth with some
chopped carrots and rice and cook it until it is gruel-like. I don't season it
much, I keep it pretty bland for her belly, but she eats that up pretty well
and it really helps her belly.
