The Oxford. I get it at work with a subscription from the
Parliamentary library. Why would anyone want any other English
language dictionary? Ok, there's the Chambers, but only cruciverbists
use that one, it seems.
Now if you asked me about French dictionaries, I would have to say
Larousse (especially the first edition of the Petit Larousse), le
Littré, le Robert and le Multi. Each has a specialty.
