Keep it band-aided with that gooey neosporin stuff, and watch out for
infection!

You have my empathy... I seem to manage to cut myself good every few
years. :-P I now use a cheese board for cheese after the last time, and
if my blades are the least bit dull, I do a quick honing using a steel.
Those are kept in the top of the knife drawer!
