I'll go for the boutique brands sometimes, but a lot of bars don't have
them. I like single malt scotch sometimes, too, but the price is enough to
take your breath away. I was introduced to the better ones at hotel in
Toronto. My car's battery dropped dead. I went to the desk to ask where I
might find one the next day, a Sunday. The manager told me where to go, said
it was no way to spend a vacation, and gave me a little card to take to the
bar. The card apparently meant "Free Drinks - Customer Having Bad Day". They
were doing a scotch tasting that night. I got to try about 10 kinds, after
which I somehow managed to locate the elevator, and my room.
