Dan,

Had several Duval-LeRoy Champagnes at the '05 New Orleans Wine & Food
Festival. All were very good. Do not recall having had this particular one,
and the notes are long gone. At this price point, and considering the other
sparklers served from DL, I'd guess that it would be good.

My "house" bubbley is Veuve-Cliquot Yellow Label NV (it has always looked like
an ORANGE label to me... ), but it is in the US$30 range.

The before mentioned Gruet (New Mexico) is an excellent alternative.
