No, it's dried Indian Corn! It comes in decorator colors and is dry.
It's most often used for fall decorations. Quite a waste of good food,
but that's the breaks.
Ground, it makes wonderful corn meal for various things. I like to get
blue corn meal as I find it to be sweeter and you can also purchase blue
corn chips made from the colored corn:

We grew it when we lived in California and it can be eaten fresh when
it's very young. It has a sweet flavor but tends to be a bit tough.
