Too late she cried.... already down 3 bottles and it's only mid way
through day 3.
And not saying how many reds have disappeared either... but then there
are TWO of us quaffing.

Our local Ryan electorate MP gives out community recognition awards
around this time each year - blown me away to have been nominated (for
the community newspaper I put out each month)

seemed to be an inordinate number yesterday, but then it was probably
just weekend trippers. Thank God it's Monday and they've all cleared
off to the mainland. Barely any schoolies around at present, positively
quiet.... just the way we like it.

Food so far:-
KI double brie Carr's tablewater biscuits & marinated olives afternoon
snack on Sat.
Zone Fresh thick beef snags on fresh bread & butter sarnies dinner Sat
night
3 batches ice cream (vanilla & 2 lots of coffee - made with Bickfords
Iced Coffee mixture which is surprisingly good)
Sunday brunch - short cut bacon & poached eggs, bread & butter & home
made cumquat marmalade
Sunday dinner - rather delish Beef Stroganoff with basmati
Monday brunch - banana sarnies (haven't skinned the leg ham yet...
probably tomorrow lunch - amazed I remembered the 'ham bag'!)
Dinner tonight will either be eye fillet & onion chutney or veal
schnitzel...time will tell.
dessert will definitely feature ice cream though... with maybe a mango
thrown in for good measure!
