Hello Bruce:

My experience with the George Foreman grill with removable plates is
not good. My wife bought it for me for my birthday, as I'd loved the
2-serving and 4-serving grills with fixed plates. Yes, the plates in
the new grill are removable, but the temperature just doesn't get up
there. Preheated for half an hour, slapped four burgers on there,
after 10 minutes the burgers were 'done' but they looked boiled rather
than grilled. No crusty seared surface. The same holds true with
anything cooked on the grill.

I'd love to hear others' experiences with removable-plates grills.

Best -- Terry
