offer was for his and her airplanes quite a few years ago. Their offer
this year is a pre-booking of the Virgin Galactic Charter To Space for
6 people. Expected departure is in 2009. That will cost you US
$1,764,000. This gift reminds me of an old Mae West legend. When
someone suggested to Mae West that she must have been very good to be
given such a fine fir coat, Mae replied to the effect that goodness had
absolutely nothing to do with it! A gift this expensive might likely be
a bribe for some important service.
