It works wonderfully! It also looks good in its own right, we think.
Trouble is, we're in Yorkshire, England and our winter, while mild, is cold
and damp. Getting the mass of the oven up to heat would take a lot of wood
so we've only used it in summer. When I use it I make enough bread for a
month at a time.
The grandchildren love making pizzas to bake in it - nicely returning to the
original post :-) It's great for parties, everyone wants to have a go.
