I remember my mother making it for dessert, and my (younger) sister
claims she used to often make it and take to people who were sick --
supposed to be healthy and easy on the stomach. The tablets used to be
about the size of an aspirin and come in a little wooden tube. They
are still available, but are larger tablets sealed in foil. Available
