Actually, while Scotland never became part of the Roman Empire, there were
Roman incursions into Scotland from 79 AD to 208 AD. The Romans were never
able to subjugate the Scots.

Why the Brits would hate WOPS is beyond me. They were only subjects of Rome
for around 400 years; they've been passive subjects of the Crown far
longer. ;-D

Graeme, does the British/Scottish boundary follow the course of Hadrian’s
Wall? Dumb Sichy from da Bronx question. ;-)
