I don't think you're paying attention. Many people (me included) don't
like
bananas once they've started getting freckles. We believe there is
such
a thing as "too ripe". Once the bananas get to the stage of unripeness
that we prefer, continued ripening can be prevented by refrigeration.
We
consider this to be a good thing and we consider bananas that are brown
or black to be a bad thing.
