(laugh) Well, I felt badly about even feeding the singles to my dog,
but she didn't seem to mind. American cheese as I had it, growing up,
came in a box, it was somehow waxed? and about a foot long. Sliced
American cheese slabs (?). My father was in the Army, so he got it
from the commisary. Bore no resemblence to the current singles. I
promise. Damned shame that people might think that is American
cheese, those singles. Gimme a box of that Army cheese any day.
