Is your mother still the spoonbread queen?
OB food (as opposed to royal titles): Tonight I made a Vietnamese
noodle bowl with shrimp and lemongrass. Nothing unusual, except that
the cilantro, mint and basil all came from my humble little front yard
garden. The mint is going berserk, the cilantro is commencing to bolt
in the Seattle heat (but I'll plant more after the 4th), and the Italian
basil has an edge over the Thai basil at this point.
