I got some nice huge green ones on sale for .79 cents/lb a whiles back at
Treasure Island here in Chicago. This past week red ones were on sale for
$1.49/lb., these are kinda misshapen and runty. In any case they are diced
and go into the freezer for various uses...

I'm not a big fan of green bell peppers because they are so bitter to me
(raw especially), but they are indispensable for things like gumbo and
meatloaf...
