I cut the top so there's just a little bit left attached, like a hinge, then
fill the inside with whatever is around: Shrimp Veracruz, chili, chicken a
la king, turkey & gravy, and so forth. If the popovers are sweet, you can
fill them with lemon curd, chocolate pudding, or strawberry mousse...
whatever your imagination and pantry come up with.
