Not true. They do a lot of surgery that saves lives or makes life
better. I believe they are the ones who fix cleft palates and fingers
that are joined together.

My father had cancer. He was close to being gone. A plastic surgeon
removed the cancer from his hand and then did a second surgery to do a
skin graft. She specialized in hands.
