I have no experience with Bunn grinders, but all the Bunn coffee
makers I've seen -- including one my mother-in-law owns -- hold the
water quite a long time, which makes the coffee flat-flavored; and use
flat-bottomed (Mr. Coffee type) filters, which yields weak coffe
compared to conical filters. We actually bought a cheap conical filter
machine and store it at the m-i-l's house so we can get decent
strength coffee when we visit.
