You can get inexpensive glass pans in that size that have plastic tops. I
know that glass isn't the ideal material for a can pan, but I have one and
it works fine. The lid is great for transporting the cake and you can also
use the pan for other food. The lid is good for coving the pan in the
refrigerator. You can probably get one at most discount stores for around
$10.
