Default simple soups in the blender

A basic recipe is to start with canned chicken stock - Swanson's is
probably the best widely available brand - and then simmer whatever veg
in it until soft - potatoes, cauliflower, onion, garlic, carrots,
celery, etc etc (not all at once probably!). Then zap until smooth. Add
some half and half for a cream soup.
