My mother lives near the epicenter of the lake effect snow and is NOT
amused. She has to shovel every time her dog (a basset hound) needs to
go outside to accomplish bodily functions. This is reaching blizzard of
1966 proportions, when we got 9 feet of snow and had no school for 6
days. It makes the ice and snow we've had this winter in Seattle look
pretty wimpy.
