Impeached, and it was purely political. The legislators
actually outsleazed the sleazy President in the whole
matter.

No. Impeachment refers to a specific process where
charges are brought by the legislative body. It doesn't
denote actual guilt.

Clinton was impeached on charges of perjury and
obstruction of justice, then acquitted.

Nixon was not impeached. He resigned before it
could be carried out.
