My father is a fisherman, so we had fresh fish ALL the time. Occasionally,
I'd get a fish stick at a friends house and felt the same way "WHAT KIND OF
FISH IS THAT?!" To this day I'm spoiled as fish purchased at the store
grosses me out, because isn't any where near fresh. My dad isn't quite the
fisherman he use to be. A couple times a years though we all go out and
catch some fresh fish. yum.
