trying to develop a few favorite recipes
What has been happening to me for about 2 monhts is that my blood
suger level gets quite low every 2 1/2 hours, requiring me to eat. I
started eating 5-6 times a day which works well with the weight
lifting routine I started in late January. But it's very hard for me
to pay attention eating (getting up from my desk, putting a plate, and
eating patiently).
I like good food but I really don'tt like, as an adult, that I had to
eat 3 meals a day when I had so many things to take care of but I had
been diligent to do it. Mostly I *ate* Asian way, with my famly's
eating habit which is rice, meat, and some vege (though there were
more than one meat and then soup and stuff as well before my father
passed away; he passed away from some severe side effect of a shot
given to him (because he insisted) by my cousin in his residency
years).
Anyway, I cannot eat rice anymore, not even parboil. It makes me not
well. Most Asian dish don't go with brown rice. So I cannot cook meat
dishes Asian style anymore. My skill in steak (on stove) is limited.
I ate rice because I could make it fresh and I couldn't get my
favorite naan bread. Now, I pretend that pita bred is naan and I
found a brand of tortilla I like. Alos, I found some bread I really
like.
I will eat some protein in everyof my 6 time eating, not just 3. I
need it with my weight training.
So I will live on grill chicken sandwish and grill beef (for salad)
using oven or top stove aside from my current favourite soups
(Vietnamese Pho and Thai Tum Yum). I can also try a Pakistani dish
called Halim (wheat and chicken) once in a while - it's complicated
work and not feasible for routine use.
So I want a very feasible marinade recipes for grilling
- Beef (tri-trip) to make salad
- Beef (sirloin steak)
- Chicken - I lost recepi I wrote down form a locla restaurant that I
like
Please don't give me links. If anyone is kind enough, just give me
something you have tried and worked well with not much time involved.
I do have some marinade bottles (teriyaki among others) but I want to
come up with a favorite marinade for each thing above. Thanks.
