If it is the same virus that has been going around here, the doctor can do
nothing to cure it. If you are weakened for some reason or have other
conditions there may be other medical problems as a secondary situation and
you should be checked out. My wife has CHF and this put her in the hospital
for 6 days, another elderly couple was severely dehydrated and ended up in
the hospital.

In once case I know if the woman went to her doctor but found he was not in
because he was home with it himself.
