Default Tainted Wheat Gluten Fiasco

That is actually a different recall.

I work at Safeway, and we pulled bread on Sunday, April 1st, and the
stated reason was testing of wheat gluten.

I do not know whether it was tainted or not, but we did pull every
brand that had Safeway's name on it. Safeway, Oven Joy, Coast to Coast
(deli department), etc. Even hamburger buns.


I am located in Washington State. I know they also pulled bread in
Oregon on the same day.

Defintely not the same recall as the one in March for wire fragments.
