I don't think 30 people bringing food for 30 is enough food for 900
people, Dave. I think it's a lot more likely that each of the 30 people
(assuming that's how many are eating) are likely to take one serving
(more if it's tasty) of maybe 5-7 of the offerings.
When we had potlucks at church, we'd prepare a dish for maybe 8-12
people. One didn't necessarily sample each of the dishes. And one
always had a serving of more than one dish * too tempting to not. :-)
