They're fellow outrage junkies. Nothing makes an outrage junkie
wriggle more than the feeling of power that stirring up fury gives.
And then there's the secondary benefit of the warm huggies of
feeling noble and yet unjustly persecuted by the evil and the unworthy.

In a kid, these two are minor and normal: acting up to gain
attention, and then sulking in your room thinking "They'll
all be sorry when I'm dead".

Most of us outgrow all that.

Andrew has a very mild case, no more than a sigma or two
out by Usenet norms. Phelps is a lost cause.
