I love them. I get mine raw and fresh from the local market,
microwave them on high for 1 minute and then medium for 3 to 4
minutes, tossing them frequently (to prevent burning and to achieve a
golden hue).
No need to add salt or oil. This way you can taste the fragrance of
the cashew nuts. And think about the extra fats and salt you have
eliminated.
You can do the same for Almond nuts, Pumkim seeds, Sunflower seeds.
They taste equally great.
